This project involved elevating a restaurant’s existing menu to match the owner’s new vision for a fine-dining atmosphere. I refined the overall brand aesthetic by introducing a more elegant layout with generous spacing, structured alignment, and a clean visual hierarchy. A sophisticated serif typeface was selected for headings to convey refinement, paired with a modern sans-serif for body text to maintain readability. The color palette was simplified to neutral tones with subtle accents, enhancing the sense of luxury without overwhelming the design. These updates work together to create a polished, upscale menu that reflects the elevated dining experience the restaurant aims to offer.

This magazine cover project was designed to communicate the contrast between outward appearance and internal struggle. I used typography, color, and composition intentionally to express the feeling of someone quietly seeking help. The polished styling of the model, the well-done hair, clean makeup, and fashionable clothing create an initial impression of confidence and perfection. However, through her expression and the emotional tone of the color palette, the viewer begins to sense a deeper narrative of uncertainty and vulnerability. The design relies on subtle visual cues to reveal that, behind her put-together exterior, she appears lost and searching for support.

Wedding Logo for Client
For this project, the clients requested a custom wedding logo that reflected their camping-themed celebration and included both of their names. I developed the design using Canva and Photoshop, combining rustic elements with a clean layout to match the outdoor aesthetic of their event. The final logo was printed on T-shirts for guests to wear during the wedding weekend, creating a cohesive and memorable visual identity for the occasion.

Enchanted River – Hand Drawn Illustration
This hand-drawn illustration was created using pencil and colored pencils to develop a whimsical book-cover concept. The scene uses flowing lines, layered textures, and soft gradients to create depth and guide the viewer from foreground to background. Feedback from earlier critiques led to refining the speech bubble with a lighter background and darker lettering to improve contrast and readability. This illustration demonstrates narrative design, character placement, and visual storytelling while maintaining a cohesive magical atmosphere suited for children’s literature.
